THERMAL OIL WELL HEATING
ENHANCED OIL RECOVERY

PARAFFIN PREVENTION / ELIMINATION & SOLUTIONS

The N-Line down hole heater addresses the problem of paraffin / wax deposits down hole in oil wells. It solves the problem of deposits both in the oil well production tubing and surface flow and field lines. The thermal oil well heating technology enhances oil recovery by providing continuously clear production tubing for maximum efficiency. If your paraffin problem is most prevalent in the production tubing the Heater Treater can be integrated into the tubing strand permanently. For maximum effectiveness the following should be integrated into the tubing strand permanently. For maximum effectiveness the following should be considered: (a) Upon completion of a well the cold zones, or water zones should be identified on the log. It is in the cold zones that paraffin deposits are most prevalent. The cooler temperature is a catalyst that causes the paraffin to solidify (b) After identifying the cold zones the Heater Treater should be installed in the tubing strand at a point approximately 1- to 200 feet below the deepest cold zone. In the flow and field lines the problem areas should be identified and the heater treater should be installed into the line 50 to 100 feet before the deposits occur.

HEAVY OIL RECOVERY
THERMAL DOWN HOLE OIL WELL HEATING
ENHANCED OIL RECOVERY

HEAVY HYDROCARBON LOW GRAVITY OIL RECOVERY - RESERVOIR STIMULATION

N-Line Tools annulus heater is specifically engineered for heavy oil recovery through thermal oil well heating, for enhanced oil recovery and down hole steam heating. In addition to preventing paraffin problems the Heater Treater can be utilized in Low Gravity or Heavy hydrocarbon recovery. If the producing zone requires heat to raise the temperature to convert the heavy hydrocarbons to lighter hydrocarbons the Annulus heater can be installed at the perforations. This provides a permanent heat source at the perforations. If the producing zone requires heating with steam the Injection heater can be installed at the perforations. The Injection heater can be placed down hole to produce steam at the production zone. Installing the heater in an injection well application allows for steam to be produced and delivered directly to the production zone, eliminating the need for above ground boilers and extensive piping systems. Satellite wells lifting the heated oil allow for a more cost effective way to recover low gravity oils.

PIPELINE APPLICATIONS

Both paraffin blockages and heavy hydrocarbons cause additional problems in the surface pipelines. In order to keep the piping systems flowing without obstructions from paraffin, or reduced flow due to heavy hydrocarbons, the pipeline heater can be utilized. Heating the fluids in the pipelines allows for continuous production, eliminating down time for pipeline maintenance. The heated fluid also moves more freely reducing restriction of flow.

HYDRATE PLUG PREVENTION

Many wells are being left off production due to the high cost and operational issues involved in removing hydrate plugs. The best method for combating hydrate plugs is PREVENTION. N-Line Tools, Inc. provides a Cost Effective way to PREVENT Hydrate Plugs. The down hole heater is permanently integrated in to the production tubing were hydrates occur. The Super Heater increases gas temperature Preventing hydrate formation.
